WELCOME TO THE BAY AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION 

The Bay Area Community Foundation works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create permanent endowment funds that help our region meet the challenges of changing times.

The Foundation invests and administers these funds and then uses their earnings to award grants each year to many of the humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations in this remarkable region we call home. The Foundation goes beyond simply making grants that advance charitable activities - we also identify current and emerging issues, stimulate local resources to address those needs and help our region prepare for the future.

Scholarship Application Now Available

Bay Area Community Foundation's college scholarship application for the 2010/2011 school year is now available.  Scholarships will be awarded this spring from over 80 donor sponsored scholarship funds to graduating seniors and current college students from Bay and Arenac County. The deadline for applying is March 1, 2010.  Questions about the application process should be directed to Renee Courier, Program Officer, at the Bay Area Community Foundation.

Spring Grant Applications Now Available

 

Applications for grants through the Bay Area Community Foundation are due in March 2010.  Non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations in Bay and Arenac Counties may apply for these grants.  Click here for more information on grant applications, guidelines, procedures and information on funding priorities.
