The Foundation is concerned about the community as a whole. We fund a wide variety of projects and programs, such as arts and culture, community initiatives, education & youth, the environment, health & wellness, human services, and recreation. Semiannual grants encompass several different funds and committees which make grants in specific fields of interest. Contact Joni King prior to applying.

Alzheimer's Endowment FundSupports projects and programs which enhance the quality of life for Bay County Alzheimer's patients and families.
Animal Welfare FundSupports projects and programs that benefit the welfare of animals in Bay County.
Arenac Community FundWill accept grant applications for projects and programs which impact Arenac County.
Arenac County Healthy Youth/Healthy Seniors FundWill accept grant applications for projects and programs that benefit the health and wellness or Arenac County residents.
Bay County Healthy Youth/Healthy Seniors FundSupports projects and programs that benefit the health and wellness of Bay County residents.
Carol C. Noeske Arenac County Disability FundSupports activities in the furtherance of, and directed toward, serving all needs of physically and mentally disabled persons, their families, and associates in Arenac County.
Civic League Endowment FundSupports Bay County programs that provide services to women, children, and families.
Community Initiative Fund (General Unrestricted)Supports projects and programs which benefit Bay County.
Education Mini GrantA grant for educators to purchase small technology and extra supplies for a classroom. Only 10, $300 (or less) grants are distributed each year.
Elizabeth Husband FundSupports Bay County programs that provide holiday season activities. Examples of such activities are, but not limited to: food baskets, clothing, and children's toys.
Environment FundSupports efforts to educate and engage citizens; evaluate, protect, and improve natural areas and resources; and build healthy sustainable communities.
Flood Family Historic Preservation FundThe purpose of this fund is to provide support to qualified non-profit, education or government organizations for historic preservation, rehabilitation and reconstruction projects within the city of Bay City, Michigan. Historic building preservation, rehabilitation, restoration and reconstruction projects within Bay County, Michigan limits will also be considered. Grants will not be awarded for general maintenance such as minor repairs or operating expenses, however, special projects will be considered.
Leslie L. Squires FoundationSupports organizations with programs that benefit children and adults with cognitive or physical disabilities that reside in Bay County.
McGillivray Saginaw River Improvement FundSupports projects which will result in permanent physical improvement of the Saginaw Riverfront in Bay County.
Nathalie Awrey Memorial FundSupports projects and programs that benefit physically challenged children under the age of 18 and are residents of Bay County. Grants are awarded to programs to support physically challenged children with movement, vision, hearing, or health issues that have created barriers in fully participating in society.
Northern Bay County Endowment FundSupports projects and programs in Northern Bay County. Grants are only awarded to local nonprofit whose programs impact Northern Bay County.
Oscar P. & Louise H. Osthelder Advisory FundSupports projects and programs which benefit Bay County. Grants in the past have included but not limited to large bricks and mortar type projects.
Saginaw Bay Watershed Restoration FundSupports environmental projects, water quality improvement projects, watershed plan development, and capacity-building throughout the Watershed.
Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)Will accept grant applications to fund projects that directly benefit the youth (18 and under) of Bay County. Previous grants were given to projects that improved youth's quality of life through health, safety, education, and recreation.
