I launched and direct programming, staff, and volunteers of the Great Lakes Bay College and Career Resource Center while collaborating with organizations, school districts, and post-secondary institutions throughout the region. Through the center we assist people of all ages and backgrounds plan, prepare, and succeed in attaining a higher education including a GED, skilled trade, certificate, or a post-secondary degree. I know firsthand what it is like to be a first-generation and nontraditional student, and I feel blessed to now help others navigate the academic world and find their careers. I received my undergraduate business degree and graduate degree in strategic management from Davenport University and started my career with BACF as a college work study thirteen years ago.
Favorite part of my job: I enjoy that I get to help others; it is a very rewarding career.

- Provide free college prep survival kits
- Assist with scholarship applications
- Help fill out FAFSA
- Discuss careers and college degree choices
- Offer resources for college, skilled trades, and GED programs
Favorite place in our community to spend free time: walking or biking the Riverwalk/Railtrail
Other things I do in my free time: camping and outdoor activities
