More than $335k Awarded in Scholarships to Bay and Arenac County Students

Bay Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce that 221 Bay and Arenac county residents will receive a total of more than $335K in scholarships for continuing education. This includes graduating high school seniors, current college students, students pursuing skilled trades or certificates, and adults returning to school.

We celebrated these students on Facebook throughout early June, stop by and congratulate them at www.facebook.com/BayAreaCommunityFoundation.

Thanks to the Foundation’s generous donors, combined with the $144,000 awarded this year from the Bay Commitment Scholarship for first-generation college students, Bay Area Community Foundation has been able to award nearly $480,000 to Bay and Arenac County students in 2021.

We have also created a scholarship booklet that highlights each student. Click here to open the PDF.
