Celebrating Robert Sarow’s Legacy

In Memoriam: Robert (Bob) Sarow

Honoring Robert (Bob) Sarow, we remember a man who dedicated his life to our community’s betterment. Bob’s journey with the Bay Area Community Foundation (BACF) began in 1982, serving on the BACF Board from 1983 to 1985, providing invaluable insights for our growth.

In 1998, Bob’s contributions earned him the Peggy Rowley Community Enrichment Award, celebrating his dedication to our community’s development. Beyond awards, Bob’s legacy lives on through his support for charitable causes and community upliftment.

Bob shared his time, expertise and philanthropic spirit with various BACF committees, exemplifying the positive impact one person can have when committed to the greater good.

As we remember and celebrate Bob’s life, we’re reminded of the influence one individual can have on their community. Bob’s dedication endures through the Bay Area Community Foundation’s Legacy Society.

The Legacy Society is an exclusive group honoring donors who include BACF in their estate plans. Whether through a will, trust, IRA, life insurance policy or other planned giving, members ensure their charitable legacies persist.

By joining the Legacy Society, you create a lasting impact. Your planned gift supports causes dear to you, leaving a mark on our community’s future. It’s a straightforward process: share your planned gift intentions with us.

In tribute to Bob’s memory, we invite you to join us. Together, we can make a difference in the Bay Area community, just as Bob did. Let’s pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
